2020 Goals | Metas para el 2020

I know we're over halfway through the month, but I've been thinking a lot about my reading goals for the year. Last year, I set a goal of 40 books for the year. For #bookstagram, this was a modest goal. Most of the readers I follow read literally hundreds of books a year. At the end of the year, I'd read 38 books. While it's certainly displeasing that I didn't meet my personal goal, I'm really proud of myself. I started a blog and made my own joy a priority.

This year, my goals are a little less concrete. I'd like to read more classics, and more of certain authors. I usually read diverse authors and new writers, and 2020 won't be any different, but I'd also like to toss in some "canon" literature, just to give it a try.

Below are some general guidelines for myself, for anyone who'd like to join me, and anyone who'd like to hold me accountable.

Sé que estamos a la mitad del mes, pero he estado pensando mucho en mis objetivos de lectura para el año. El año pasado, puse una meta fija de 40 libros para el año. Para #bookstagram, este era un objetivo modesto. La mayoría de los lectores que sigo leen literalmente cientos de libros al año. A fin del año, había leído 38 libros. Es ciertamente desagradable que no logré mi objetivo personal, pero estoy realmente orgullosa de mí misma. Comencé un blog e hice de mi alegría una prioridad.
